If you’ve been dreaming about moving to Italy — not just traveling through it — this guided small‑group experience was created for you.

Over 7 days and 6 nights, we’ll explore multiple Tuscan regions, meet with vetted professionals, tour neighborhoods, evaluate property options, and give you a realistic, grounded sense of what life in Italy could look like.

This journey blends practical relocation knowledge, expert guidance, and first‑hand exploration, so you can make confident decisions about if (and where) Tuscany is the right fit for your next chapter.

What This Tour Is (and Isn’t)

This is not a traditional sightseeing vacation.
It is an intentional, structured relocation experience designed to help you understand:

  • What everyday life looks like in different parts of Tuscany
  • How buying or renting property works in Italy
  • The realities of visas, taxes, and long‑term planning
  • Which towns align with your budget, lifestyle, and needs

Think of this as your on‑the‑ground research trip — but curated, supported, and guided.

High-Level Itinerary

Note: The itinerary is subject to change based on weather, availability, and the scheduling needs of local professionals.

Day 1–2: Florence + Siena

Your journey begins in Florence with a welcome dinner and a comprehensive relocation session led by an immigration expert, tax attorney, and real estate professional. You’ll also explore several residential neighborhoods and get a sense of what life looks like beyond the historic center.

Days 3-4: Eastern Tuscany & Maremma

We’ll visit two lesser known inland towns in Eastern Tuscany (Castiglion Fiorentino and Arezzo) that offer excellent value, and easy daily living. Next, we head to Southern Tuscany to explore seaside living, rural countryside homes, and small historic towns in the stunning Maremma region.

Days 5-6 Western & Coastal Tuscany

On our way north, we stop in Livorno to explore coastal neighborhoods and practical port‑city living before arriving in Vicopisano, a charming medieval town —  both peaceful, authentic — our home base for the final two nights.

We also visit Pisa and Lucca —  two Tuscan favorites offering a mix of culture, convenience, walkability.

Cap off your experience with a farewell dinner and closing Q&A.

Pre‑Departure Support

To help you maximize your time on the tour, you will receive:

  • One Group Preparation Call — So you know exactly what to expect and how to get the most out of the experience.
  • One Individual Intake Call — We’ll discuss your lifestyle goals, your timeline, your property budget, whether you’re renting or buying, and what you’re hoping to get out of life in Italy. This helps us tailor the experience where possible.
  • Access to La Dolce Move (Self‑Study Course)  — You’ll have access to the course before the trip begins, giving you foundational knowledge on relocation logistics.
